Wally's Friends in Chattanooga is also open for low cost spaying and neutering. Wally was a German Short-Haired Pointer who was found abandoned, starving and seriously injured on the streets of Sacramento, California. Although suffering, her eyes still held a light of hope and kindness. Wally was rescued and lived a long full life of 17 years. She always welcomed any cat or dog her humans brought home to her, each one homeless as she once was. In memory of Wally, and all homeless animals who have suffered needlessly, Wally’s Friends™ has been established. Pet Adoption Day

Our pet adoption day is on Saturday from 12PM to 4PM or contact us for a private showing and early adoption.. Come and see our furry little friends who are looking for new families. Dogs, puppies, cats and kittens will be available for adoption and you can see them here at our Adoption Center link. All adult animals are fully vet checked, vaccinated (tested for certain diseases) and Spayed or Neutered. For puppies and kittens, their adoption fee includes a free certificate to Spay or Neuter at the proper age. We are located at 1703 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, Georgia

Humane Society Meeting

 The next regular Humane Society meeting will be Monday, July 21st, 2008,  6 P.M. (Meetings are now held on the 3rd MONDAY of the month) at the Humane Society facility, The Dr. Charles & Evelyn Wade Adoption Center, 1703 Cleveland Hwy (Dalton). The public is invited.
